We are thrilled that our ATLAS Alpha Network gets full support from Microsoft. In just two weeks since its announcement in January, over 25 organizations have already signed up for participating in the ATLAS Alpha Network. We will be holding the second ATLAS training online sessions on Monday 17th, and Friday 21st February 2020, allowing all the participants to fully experience ATLAS and how it streamlines the international trade finance process. Project Inthanon-LionRock
The Bank of Thailand and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has successfully wrapped up their collaborative DLT-based Project Inthanon–LionRock, a project with the objective of transforming wholesale cross-border payments with streamlined intermediation model, real-time transfer and atomic Payment-versus-Payment (PvP) settlements using Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
CryptoBLK is proud to collaborate with them, and a group of 8 banks from Thailand, 2 banks from Hong Kong, R3 and CH & Co. for this project, including the two previous phases since the beginning back to 2018.
The objectives are ambitious and well-defined:
✅ Improve cross-border settlement efficiency
✅ Improve liquidity management efficiency
✅ Comply with local regulations
✅ Allow for a wider scope with an extensible architecture

We’re excited to see the launch of the bank-backed blockchain trade finance project under the new brand – Contour, which is to digitize the USD 18 trillion trade finance process.

Thank you HKTDC and InvestHK for the great organization of this Asian Financial Forum (AFF)!
